in bloom for week of June 22, 2009

First fruit are appearing in the orchard. Small plums, green blueberries, and both all green and blushing red apples. Our first Joan Fontaine rose bloomed. The beauty of the bloom makes the headache of these roses worth it.

We have green pie cherries on the branch, sweet peas, huckleberry branches, buttercream and dusky rose California poppies and LOTS of edible flowers coming off the farm this week. A few snapshots:
